CVS Health Offers Updated 2026-27 COVID-19 Vaccines

09/17/2026

CVS Health has announced that updated COVID-19 vaccines for the 2026-2027 season are now available at participating CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic locations. Patients with most insurance plans can receive the vaccines at no out-of-pocket cost.

Vaccination appointments can be scheduled through CVS.com, MinuteClinic.com or the CVS Health app. Patients may also visit CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic locations without an appointment, as walk-in vaccinations are available.

“Patients want convenient access to vaccines and other preventive healthcare services,” said Amy Compton-Phillips, MD, Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of CVS Health. She said making the updated COVID-19 vaccines available through CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic gives people greater flexibility to receive protection close to home and at a time that suits their schedules.

Eligibility for COVID-19 vaccination at CVS Pharmacy is determined by applicable state regulations. MinuteClinic offers COVID-19 vaccinations beginning at 18 months of age. Pharmacists and MinuteClinic healthcare providers can answer vaccination-related questions and help patients consider their options in accordance with their individual healthcare needs.

Convenient Options for Families and Caregivers
CVS offers vaccination appointments throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. Up to four people can be scheduled for vaccination during the same appointment at CVS Pharmacy or MinuteClinic, making it easier for families and caregivers to coordinate their visits.

Eligible patients may also be able to receive several recommended vaccines during one visit. Depending on individual vaccination needs, these may include COVID-19, influenza, RSV and other routine immunizations.

For people covered by most insurance plans, the updated COVID-19 vaccine is available without an out-of-pocket cost. Uninsured patients may be charged for vaccination at CVS Pharmacy or MinuteClinic, with pricing dependent on the vaccine product and the patient's eligibility.
