Gatsby's Clothier Expands Luxury Menswear Collection

08/18/2026

Gatsby's Clothier is expanding its product range with a selection of made-to-measure menswear, Lucchese boots, and additional luxury apparel. Based in Bee Cave, Texas, just outside Austin, the family-owned retailer has built a reputation for premium menswear and personalized service designed to help customers express their individual style.

A Broader Curated Luxury Collection
The latest additions give customers even more choices for both professional wardrobes and everyday dressing. Gatsby's Clothier already offers an extensive selection of suits, sport coats, tuxedos, casual clothing, and accessories, featuring premium labels including Johnnie-O, Vuori, and Mizzen+Main.

Its new made-to-measure service provides customers with clothing tailored specifically to their measurements and preferences. Clients can order custom suits, sport coats, dress shirts, jeans, and other garments. Suits and sport coats are constructed using Italian fabrics, including materials sourced from prestigious mills such as Zegna, Scabal, Gladson, Huddersfield, and Carnet.

The expanded collection also includes options for women, with Gatsby's Clothier now offering Vuori athletic apparel and activewear.

Another notable addition is the introduction of premium cowboy boots. The retailer now carries Lucchese, a renowned name in Western footwear.

"We are now one of the very few retailers that carry Lucchese boots. We are the only place in town where you can get them," says Ryan Claybough at Gatsby's Clothier in Bee Cave.

The company also plans to introduce an outdoor-brand poncho later in the year, adding another distinctive option to its growing selection.

A Family Legacy in Menswear
Gatsby's Clothier has more than four decades of experience in the menswear business. The family established its first store in San Diego in 1991 before eventually relocating to the Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave.

Today, the business is owned by Shannon Claybough. Master tailor Nico continues a family tradition of tailoring excellence, drawing on a heritage that spans generations of master tailors.
That longstanding commitment to craftsmanship and quality has helped Gatsby's Clothier develop strong, enduring relationships with its customers.

Personalized Service at the Heart of the Business
For years, Gatsby's Clothier has been a destination for men seeking the right suit or outfit for important milestones and everyday occasions. Its customers, including multiple generations of families, have come to appreciate the retailer's focus on helping people look and feel confident.

"We care a lot about our personal relationships with customers and are almost like friends with our regulars," Claybough explains.

Personal consultations remain central to the shopping experience. The Gatsby's team considers each customer's career, lifestyle, personal preferences, and upcoming occasions when recommending clothing. With the addition of made-to-measure services, customers now have even greater flexibility to build wardrobes that reflect their personalities and individual needs.

Gatsby's Clothier intends to continue expanding its range of premium products and personalized services. The company is also considering introducing its own clothing label in the future, potentially adding another chapter to its growing family legacy.
