Jennifer Crandall, the founder of Safe Food En Route and a board member of Land Betterment, is the featured speaker in a three-part webinar series hosted by Perry Johnson Registrars Food Safety, Inc.

In these webinars, Jennifer will explore the importance of food safety culture, discuss World Food Safety Day in relation to food safety standards, delve into the components of a food safety culture, and highlight five ways in which GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) contributes to building such a culture. Throughout her career, Jennifer has collaborated with both private and publicly held companies, successfully balancing scientific and regulatory guidelines with practical operational and manufacturing directives critical to the success of food businesses. With eight years of experience in dairy and juice manufacturing and twelve years at Kroger Corporate in their Food Technology and Sourcing departments, Jennifer has gained diverse insights across the entire supply chain, from farm to fork. During her tenure at Kroger, she played a pivotal role in developing software solutions to ensure the company's compliance with relevant FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) regulations.
 
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jennifer actively engages in bridging the gap between education and industry. She serves as a guest lecturer and alumni contact for Purdue University Food Science students and has contributed to the Curriculum Advisory Committee for Cincinnati State's recently approved Culinary Arts and Applied Food Science Bachelor of Arts program. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science from Purdue University and an Associate's Degree in Agriculture from Vincennes University. Throughout her career, she has acquired numerous certifications, including HACCP, FSVP, PCQI, BRC Internal Auditor, SQF Practitioner, ServSafe, and Gluten Free Certification Program (GFCP), all of which complement her food safety-focused profession.
