Microsoft ‘Literally’ Matches Employee Engagement Contribution

11/25/2017

Whether it is time, product, money or talent of the employee given under the workplace giving programme, Microsoft has its way of matching the same.

Dailycsr.com – 25 November 2017 – Microsoft has come up with a video wherein its “Philanthropies Director of Employee Engagement”, Karen Bergin, talk about various strategies that were sought by the company to elevate its “workplace giving and volunteering program” which showed a record breaking “participation rate” of seventy four percent of “70,000 employees”.

Karen is a “self-proclaimed ‘giver by nature’”, who sees the “workplace giving” programme as powerful as acquiring “a new superpower”, thus one can double the impact.

As informed by Ethical Performance:
“Microsoft's annual giving campaign encourages people to give any amount of time, talent, money and products in almost any way that’s personally meaningful, and the company will match it. Literally match”.
