Baker Hughes Volunteers Support Kids’ Meals in Houston

Volunteerism is an important way for Baker Hughes employees to put the company’s values into practice while contributing to meaningful and sustainable improvements in the communities where they live and work.

Across the globe, Baker Hughes employees give their time, expertise and energy through hands-on service, partnerships with local organizations and community-driven projects. These efforts are intended to strengthen communities and provide support to people who need it most. The company’s 2025 Corporate Sustainability Report highlights volunteer activities taking place around the world. One partnership receiving particular attention is the company’s work with Kids’ Meals.

Kids’ Meals named Baker Hughes a 2025 Top Volunteer Group, placing the company among its Top 50 Volunteer Groups for the year.

During 2025, Baker Hughes employees dedicated 229 volunteer hours to support Kids’ Meals and its efforts to address childhood hunger.

The Baker Hughes Foundation reached an important milestone in its relationship with Kids’ Meals in 2025 by providing the organization with a new delivery van.

To mark the occasion, Baker Hughes volunteers loaded the vehicle with more than 1,000 freshly prepared meals and contributed over 1,000 juice boxes. As a result, the van began its service with a delivery supported directly by Baker Hughes employees.

The new vehicle will help Kids’ Meals distribute nutritious food to families throughout the Greater Houston area. By increasing the organization’s delivery capacity, the van will help more children and families receive meals and support.

For three decades, the Baker Hughes Foundation has helped direct charitable resources toward initiatives designed to create positive community outcomes. Its areas of focus include environmental quality, education, health, safety and wellness around the world.

The Foundation supports organizations that demonstrate shared values, effective leadership, measurable impact, financial responsibility and the ability to successfully implement and assess their programs.
