Fabled Voyages, a rising name in the long-term residential cruise industry, has revealed additional details about its Pets Onboard program—an organized initiative that enables residents to live at sea full-time with their cats and dogs. The company also announced that it will start accepting deposits on March 30, 2026.
As more retirees, remote professionals, and extended-stay travelers explore residential cruising, Fabled Voyages aims to remove a major obstacle to long-term travel by creating a genuine home-at-sea experience that includes pets as part of the household.

Key features of the program include:
- Cats and dogs allowed, with a maximum of two pets per residence, subject to size, health, and behavioral standards
- Dedicated outdoor walking spaces and pet-friendly areas incorporated into the ship’s design
- Planned onboard services such as veterinary care, grooming, and enhanced sanitation measures
“Our vision isn’t to create a pet-focused cruise,” Miller added. “It’s about eliminating unnecessary barriers so people can fully embrace long-term travel.”
