Elisa, a leading Finnish provider of telecommunications and digital services, together with its international software arm Elisa Industriq, will maintain a strong presence at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) taking place in Barcelona from 2–5 March 2026.
Celebrating its 20th year in Barcelona, MWC remains the largest and most influential global gathering for connectivity and mobile technology. During the event, Elisa and Elisa Industriq will present exclusive demonstrations of their latest products and solutions, highlight new innovations, showcase strategic collaborations, and deliver keynote sessions.
Ahead of the congress, on Sunday 1 March, Elisa’s COO and EVP of Technology and Operations, Sami Komulainen, will participate in Nokia’s MWC26 press and analyst event. The session will be streamed live on YouTube starting at 14:00 CET.
Elisa and Google Cloud advancing AI-powered networks
Elisa is working closely with Google Cloud to fast-track the evolution toward AI-enabled autonomous network operations. Expanding on Elisa’s prior automation efforts, the partnership allows the network to operate with minimal manual intervention, align with broader business objectives, and proactively identify and resolve issues. Visitors can explore demonstrations of Elisa’s network digital twin and live AI agents in Hall 2, stand 2H40 (ground floor).
Addressing the surge in scam calls
As scam calls become increasingly common, public confidence in phone numbers continues to decline. Elisa’s Fraud Call Prevention Solution demonstrates how telecom operators can rebuild trust while transforming security into a competitive differentiator. Already implemented in Finland, the solution recently received the European Crime Prevention Award. More details will be available in Hall 5, stand 5J45, within the Finland Pavilion.
Elisa’s CEO, Topi Manner, will join the panel discussion Scam Wars: When AI Joins the Fight on Monday, 2 March at 15:00 CET. The session will explore the rise of AI-powered cyber threats, including automated attacks, generative fraud, and sophisticated deepfakes. Held at the Turing Stage in Hall 6, the discussion will focus on defensive strategies and the ethical and regulatory challenges emerging in an AI-driven cybersecurity environment.
Gridle: Smarter energy optimization for telecom networks
Elisa Industriq’s energy optimization division, Gridle, will present its AI-based optimization service connected to RAN batteries. The solution enhances network stability and operational continuity during power outages while creating additional revenue opportunities and reducing energy costs.
Attendees can meet the Gridle team in Hall 3 to learn how AI-driven energy flexibility optimization can maximize the value of energy storage assets across telecom, industrial, residential, and grid-scale environments.
Polystar driving AI-led operational transformation
Another Elisa Industriq business, Polystar, is recognized globally for its data-driven assurance and automation solutions for telecom operators. At MWC, Polystar will unveil new AI-powered automated assurance innovations and showcase advanced analytics use cases enabled by improved data management. Visit Hall 5, stand 5F35, to discover how these solutions generate deeper operational insights, enhance customer experience, and improve efficiency.
