Kohler celebrates diversity of culture, heritage and skills
With October being called the Hispanic Heritage Month Kohler celebrates the contributions and impact of Latino/a/x people such as Dana Morales to its business, history and its mission to live beautifully.

With a bold drive and boundless creativity, Dana Morales will make history as the first female chief industrial designer. Originally from Colombia, she studied ceramics in Florence and New York before joining Kohler, where she oversaw the creation of kitchen decor and bath products.

“I have the most fun job at this company. I’m surrounded by inspiring people, materials and processes, and with the help of our talented craftsmen and brilliant engineers, I get to make my dreams become actual products,” said Morales.

Her outstanding work is setting an example for her sons –work hard, travel around the world, seize opportunities, and value diversity as an attribute.

“As a Hispanic, I’m constantly recognizing the influence the Hispanic culture has around the world, and I want my boys to grow up and become global citizens. A diversity of perspectives and approaches can lead to new outcomes that benefit us all!”
