Sunwoda Strengthens Global Energy Storage Partnership with Sungrow
On January 8, Sunwoda participated in the 2026 Sungrow Global Partners Conference held in Hefei, Anhui Province, as a key global partner of Sungrow. The event focused on global market expansion and sustainable growth. During the conference, Sunwoda’s Chairman, Wang Wei, delivered a keynote address entitled “Global Strategy and Sustainable Growth,” outlining the company’s strategic vision and real-world initiatives in response to the accelerating global shift toward clean energy.

At the conference, Sunwoda was honored with both the ESG Best Practice Award and the Global Strategic Partner Award, recognizing its strong performance in international development, technological advancement, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) leadership.

Viewing the Energy Transition Through a Global Lens
Wang emphasized that the global energy landscape is undergoing a fundamental shift, with renewable energy moving from a complementary role to becoming a core pillar of the energy system. Competitive advantage in the industry is increasingly driven by integrated system capabilities, global execution strength, and responsible, sustainable management.

With nearly 30 years of innovation-led growth, Sunwoda has built industry-leading capabilities across consumer electronics batteries, power batteries, and energy storage solutions. The company is now evolving beyond traditional manufacturing, developing platform-oriented and system-level competencies to better support the global energy value chain.

Expanding Global Reach and Strengthening Energy Infrastructure
Sunwoda continues to accelerate its international strategy by expanding research, manufacturing, and commercial operations worldwide. Its global footprint now includes R&D centers, production bases, and localized service networks across China, Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

In the energy storage field, Sunwoda and Sungrow have established a deepening global partnership covering technology planning, product development platforms, manufacturing collaboration, and worldwide project delivery—enhancing the flexibility, reliability, and scalability of energy storage solutions globally.

684Ah Stacked Battery Cell Driving System-Level Collaboration
The 684Ah stacked battery cell has emerged as a central element of joint innovation between Sunwoda and Sungrow, fostering close cooperation in product specification, system integration, and engineering validation.

The successful delivery of the one-millionth 684Ah cell demonstrates Sunwoda’s large-scale manufacturing capability and supply stability, providing a solid platform for higher-capacity products and next-generation energy storage systems.

Advancing a Long-Term Sustainability Commitment
Under its LEAP sustainability framework, Sunwoda embeds environmental and social responsibility throughout the entire value chain—from product design and manufacturing to supply chain oversight and end-of-life recycling.

Key initiatives include the rollout of a digital Battery Passport, expanded battery recycling programs, and material recovery efforts. The company remains firmly committed to reaching peak carbon emissions by 2029 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

Looking ahead, Sunwoda will continue to collaborate closely with global partners such as Sungrow to strengthen the technological foundation and industrial ecosystem required for the next generation of energy systems.
