One Tower Earns Turkey’s First WELL Coworking Rating

09/09/2026

One Tower Business Club, a premium flexible workspace and business destination in Turkey, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first flexible workspace operator in the country to receive the WELL Coworking Rating. The achievement also makes Turkey the third country in continental Europe to receive the distinction.

The certification, awarded in August by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) through its WELL Coworking Rating program, recognizes workspace providers that place health, wellbeing and workplace performance at the center of their operations. The program is delivered in collaboration with The Instant Group.

The recognition reflects a broader shift in the flexible-workspace sector, where operators are increasingly focusing on creating environments designed not simply for productivity, but also for the physical and mental wellbeing of their members.

A Comprehensive Assessment of Workplace Wellbeing
The WELL Coworking Rating evaluates more than 50 health and wellbeing features covering all 10 WELL concepts. These areas include indoor air and water quality, lighting, thermal conditions, nutrition and opportunities for physical activity.

Each application undergoes an independent review by IWBI before the rating is granted, providing operators with an externally verified benchmark for workplace health and wellbeing.

One Tower Business Club completed the certification process in collaboration with Alarnova, with additional support from ecosystem partner WELLS 360°. The process brought together specialist expertise, operational planning and guidance to integrate the required standards into the workspace environment.

A Premium Workspace in Ankara
Situated within Ankara's prestigious One Tower development, One Tower Business Club covers approximately 11,500 square meters. The facility combines flexible offices and business services with hospitality, community and wellness amenities.

Among its offerings are Sign Restaurant and a private fitness facility developed in partnership with wellness brand Technogym. Together, these facilities are designed to provide professionals, entrepreneurs and businesses with an environment that supports both work and overall wellbeing.

Wellbeing Becomes a Competitive Advantage
Turkey's flexible-office market is continuing to develop as more businesses seek alternatives to conventional office arrangements. As competition increases, workspace providers are looking beyond desks, meeting rooms and connectivity to offer experiences that provide additional value to members.

The WELL Coworking Rating gives operators a recognized, independently verified framework through which they can demonstrate their investment in occupant health, comfort and performance. It can also help workspace providers distinguish themselves to companies that are becoming increasingly selective about their working environments.

Ann Marie Aguilar, Senior Vice President, EMEA, at IWBI, said the WELL Coworking Rating enables flexible workspace operators to show how their environments can contribute to health, wellbeing and productivity. She congratulated One Tower Business Club for achieving the rating and becoming part of the expanding international community focused on improving workplace experiences.

Sam Pickering, Executive Director at The Instant Group, described the certification as evidence of One Tower Business Club's commitment to its members and to the evolving concept of workplace wellbeing. He noted that the quality of the workplace experience is becoming increasingly important to occupiers and said One Tower had demonstrated leadership through its investment in health, comfort and performance.

Setting a New Standard in Turkey
Monika Paksoy, Managing Director of One Tower Business Club, called the achievement a major milestone for the company and emphasized the significance of independent verification by IWBI.

According to Paksoy, incorporating health, wellbeing and productivity into the company's operations demonstrates that these priorities extend beyond marketing and are instead embedded into the way the facility is managed. She also highlighted her role in taking the project from its initial concept through to certification.

The WELL recognition comes at a time when Turkey's flexible workspace industry is becoming increasingly sophisticated. It also reflects growing demand for internationally recognized standards that can help operators establish credibility, demonstrate quality and attract corporate clients.

For One Tower Business Club, the certification reinforces its position as a premium destination for companies, entrepreneurs and professionals in Ankara. More broadly, the achievement contributes to the growing adoption of internationally recognized healthy-workplace principles within Turkey's flexible office sector.
