Entergy Texas Donates $30K for Central Texas Flood Relief

07/24/2025

In an effort to support neighboring communities affected by the recent Central Texas floods, Entergy Texas is contributing $30,000 to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. This donation will aid in the ongoing recovery efforts managed through the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, which provides essential services such as rescue operations, emergency aid, and long-term recovery assistance to those impacted.

“The devastation caused by the flooding is truly heartbreaking,” said Eliecer Viamontes, president and CEO of Entergy Texas.

“We’re committed to supporting our communities not just during good times, but especially during times of crisis. It’s important for Texans to come together now, and we hope this contribution brings real relief to those in need.”

Based in Kerrville, the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund is a public charitable organization focused on delivering immediate aid and supporting the rebuilding process for communities affected by the floods. Those wishing to contribute can do so by visiting the fund’s donation website.

Entergy Texas remains dedicated to uplifting the areas we serve. Although our service territory was not directly impacted by the flooding, our commitment extends to the wider region we consider home. Through emergency response, volunteer efforts, and financial contributions, we stand with Texans in building stronger, more resilient communities.
