Dailycsr.com – 07 November 2019 – Last month of October 2019, the four states, namely “Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Kentucky” put up “quite a bit” show to celebrate “Keep the Tennessee River Watershed Beautiful Month”.

During the month long celebration, nearly “22,276 pounds of trash” was cleared up, twenty five recipients of awards was recognised in the “1st annual Ripple Effect Awards” of “Yamaha Rightwaters”, while four governors as well as four mayors also made their proclamations.

The “Keep the Tennessee River Beautiful” initiative’s Executive Director, Kathleen Gibi said:
“It’s been inspiring to see so many volunteers, businesses, governments, and elected officials all come together for the cause of the Tennessee River watershed. We released the slogan, ‘Your River. Your Impact.’ during October, and we’ve seen a diverse network of river champions willing to do what it takes for that positive impact on our river.”
