Foster Care Kids To Ride On Bikes Built & Donated by Jetblue’s Team Members

Every year, the technical operation teams at JetBlue sets forth harder goal for helping the children in foster care.


Dailycsr.com – 30 June 2017 – Honouring Charles E. Taylor’s memory, the one who gave birth to “aviation maintenance”, JetBlue celebrated in “New York City Support Centre” while its ripples spread across eleven of its “maintenance facilities”.
 
Furthermore, JetBlue celebrated the annual “JetBlue For Good Bike Build” for the second time, wherein in partnership with the “Technical Operations and Corporate Social Responsibility teams” of the company, two hundred seventy five bikes were made for donating them among the children of “foster care system”. The aim of “JetBlue crewmembers” is to donate five hundred bikes the next year.
 
Moreover, JetBlue Airways also informed that:
“In partnership with Together We Rise, a non-profit organization led by young adults who were formerly in foster care, the bikes were delivered to local foster care charities throughout the airline’s network. Together We Rise focuses on transforming the way youth navigate America’s foster care system”.
