KeyBank Secures Naming Rights for New Pro Football Hall of Fame Event Center
KeyBank has entered into a naming rights agreement with the Pro Football Hall of Fame for a newly planned event center, set to be constructed at the Hall of Fame campus.

The upcoming KeyBank Center at the Pro Football Hall of Fame will be the region’s largest event facility. It will serve as the central venue for numerous Hall of Fame activities, including the prestigious Enshrinement Weekend, starting in 2027. Additionally, the center will be available for various community-based events.

Jim Porter, President and CEO of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, highlighted the broader impact of the collaboration:

"KeyBank’s involvement spans several layers of our community. This partnership not only helps bring a world-class event venue to Canton but also contributes educational value through our outreach programs."

The deal includes a five-year sponsorship, granting KeyBank the designation of “Exclusive Bank of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.” The agreement also features engagements with Hall of Famers and the inclusion of a financial literacy component in the Hall’s award-winning Youth, Education & Leadership programming.

Chris Gorman, Chairman and CEO of KeyCorp, shared his thoughts on the partnership:
"As we mark our 200th anniversary, we’re proud to reinforce our commitment to Northeast Ohio by establishing the KeyBank Center. This project symbolizes our dedication to supporting communities, expanding opportunities, and honoring legacies. We envision this space as a gathering point where people can connect, grow, and be inspired for years to come."

Spanning nearly 12,000 square feet on the ground level, the center will feature a 27-foot-wide retractable glass wall opening to a nearby turf field, a full-service kitchen, and a rooftop terrace. The second floor will house a café, VIP Club, and 6,580 square feet of turf rooftop designed for special events.

Canton Mayor William V. Sherer II also praised the development saying, "This new event center reinforces our city’s proud history as the NFL’s birthplace and pushes us forward culturally and economically. The Hall has long been a valued partner, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with both the Hall and the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce to bring premier events to our community. While our own civic center continues to evolve, we celebrate this exciting milestone for the Hall."

Construction is expected to begin in fall 2025, with the facility scheduled for completion in time to support the 2027 Hall of Fame Enshrinement ceremonies.
