NS Pharma, Inc., headquartered in Paramus, New Jersey, has announced that its parent organization, Nippon Shinyaku Co., Ltd. of Kyoto, Japan, has signed a Sponsored Research Agreement (SRA) with Boston Children's Hospital to advance the development of novel treatments for neurological disorders. The collaboration was coordinated through NS Pharma's Innovation Research Partnering (IRP) team based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Building on the strategic partnership established in July 2025, Nippon Shinyaku has identified several research initiatives proposed by Boston Children's Hospital for joint development. By combining Boston Children's Hospital's internationally recognized scientific expertise with Nippon Shinyaku's strengths in drug discovery, the collaboration aims to accelerate the development of innovative therapies for neurological conditions that currently lack adequate treatment options.
"This agreement marks an important step forward in our shared commitment to advancing rare disease research and leveraging our collective expertise," said Dr. Yukiteru Sugiyama, President of NS Pharma. "We are excited to further strengthen our relationship with Boston Children's Hospital and demonstrate how meaningful partnerships can drive progress for patients and communities affected by rare diseases."
