Moonshot 2025: T. Rowe Price and Ignite Capital Empower Baltimore Social Entrepreneurs

07/17/2025

The T. Rowe Price Foundation, in collaboration with Ignite Capital, has unveiled the Baltimore-based social entrepreneurs chosen for Moonshot—an initiative aimed at linking the T. Rowe Price network with local business leaders driving economic growth and social impact in Baltimore.

Through this program, each entrepreneur receives a financial grant, personalized and group capacity-building sessions focused on growth, and opportunities to connect with T. Rowe Price associates and partners. This effort underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to business sustainability and community development.

“Moonshot represents yet another way the T. Rowe Price Foundation champions bold, community-focused organizations creating lasting solutions. We’re proud to support their growth as they promote innovation and sustainability in Baltimore and beyond,” said Raymone Jackson, president of the T. Rowe Price Foundation.

Jay Nwachu, president and CEO of Innovation Works and Ignite Capital, added, “Partnering with T. Rowe Price on the Moonshot initiative allows us to help social entrepreneurs scale their businesses, attract investment, and drive change within their communities. These leaders are building enterprises rooted in equity, resilience, and community impact, and we are dedicated to amplifying their success.”
