Otis Worldwide Board Welcomes New Members from American Tower and FedEx
Otis Worldwide Corporation, a global leader in the manufacture, installation, and service of elevators and escalators, has announced the appointment of Tom Bartlett and Jill Brannon to its Board of Directors as of October 27, 2023.
Tom Bartlett, the current President and CEO of American Tower Corporation, brings with him a wealth of experience in technology and real estate management related to global wireless infrastructure. Prior to his tenure at American Tower, which began in 2009, Bartlett had a successful 25-year career at Verizon Communications and its associated companies. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Equinix, Inc. and is an active member of several prestigious organizations.
Jill Brannon, the Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer at FedEx Corp., has over three decades of global experience at FedEx. She has held various leadership roles in sales, operations, marketing, strategic planning and analysis across Europe, the Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent and Africa. Since 2022, she has been serving on the advisory board of directors for European Transport Solutions SARL, Luxembourg.
Judy Marks, Otis Chair, CEO & President expressed her delight at welcoming both Bartlett and Brannon to the board. She highlighted their respective experiences as valuable assets that will support Otis’ growth strategy.
Bartlett expressed his eagerness to support Otis’ mission to be a world-class, customer-centric, service-oriented company. Brannon also expressed her excitement to join Otis and contribute her global experience to support the company’s long-term strategy.
In other news, Harold (Terry) W. McGraw III will retire from the Otis Worldwide Corporation Board of Directors on December 7, 2023. McGraw was an inaugural member of the Otis Board when the company separated from its previous parent and listed as an independent company on the New York Stock Exchange in April 2020.
With these changes, the Otis Board will consist of 11 members. Bartlett will join the Audit and Compensation Committees while Brannon will join the Audit and Nominations and Governance Committees.
