AT&T’s Financial Support Produces ‘Remarkable Leaders’

All Star Code programme changed the life of tech lovers.


Dailycsr.com – 25 July 2016 – In the year of 2015, AT&T had financed the “All Star Code’s 2015 Summer Intensive program” for seven individuals. The said scholars, even after completing the programme, have continued to work on the development of “computer science and coding skills” which has helped them to become “remarkable leaders”.
 
AT&T proudly announces that their support towards the “All Star Code” programme along with the “amazing young men” which were given additional support in the year of 2016. Informing about one of the seven scholars, Kwaku Kessey-Ankomah Jr., John Abreu provides an update, wherein he said:
“Bronx-born Kwaku Kessey-Ankomah Jr. completed his senior year at Cardinal Hayes High School, a private school in the Bronx. His interest in Computer Science led him to enroll in All Star Code’s Summer Intensive program. During the program, he was able to expand his knowledge of computer languages and computer science concepts immensely”.
 
Along with a classmate, Kwaku created “CollabCode” during the final round of his project. The CollabCode is software for “code editing” which is based on browser and featured “Syntax”, whereby the software highlights, saves time, updates, edits in “multiple users”. It comes with an “user-friendly interface” besides integrating “five APIs”.
 
Following the All Star Code, Kwaku treaded further into the road of computer science and took up three more courses at Hunter College as a “non-degree student”. His love for robotics made him co-found a “robotics club” in his school, whereby he found working in this manner is “empowering and a great privilege”.
 
Additionally, Kwaku associated with Sankofatech which leverages “technology for social good in Africa”, while he is also involved in developing “a few mobile applications” that deal with traffic, weather and so on.
“Kwaku also co-founded an organization called Scholars in Our Society in Africa (SOSA) dedicated to providing access to books in Africa. He recently completed an internship at Bleu Life Corporation, an opportunity that came through All Star Code”.
