Dailycsr.com – 19 February 2016 – The customers of the “City of Wilmington solid waste” take part in Coca-Cola Recycle & Win to make a difference in the environment in a fun manner. The Coca-Cola Recycle & Win is a private or public “partnership” that has been uniquely designed to encourage “local recycling participation” while bringing down the level of contamination.

It helps the City of Wilmington solid waste’s office in maintaining “low trash rates” besides protecting the environment. Moreover, if a customer is seen following a proper recycling method, the respective customer gets rewarded with “a $50 Harris Teeter gift card”.

Increasing the recycling participation rate is one way we intend to build a sustainable community. The City wants to ensure customers are not only recycling, but recycling the proper materials and supporting the local materials recovery facility.”

While, the United States’ Congressman, David Rouzer added:
“Initiatives like the Coca-Cola Recycle & Win program are very important to growing North Carolina’s recycling economy and creating jobs based on the recovery of materials.
