Jerry Rice enjoyed an iconic NFL career highlighted by 15 seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, where he captured three Super Bowl titles—Super Bowl XXIII (1988), Super Bowl XXIV (1989), and Super Bowl XXIX (1994)—and earned Super Bowl MVP honors. He later spent three seasons with the Oakland Raiders, including a Super Bowl appearance, and one season with the Seattle Seahawks before retiring from professional football in 2005. Rice was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in January 2010 during his first year of eligibility.
Rice holds an astounding 36 NFL records, more than any player in league history. He is the NFL’s all-time leader in touchdowns scored (208) and owns nearly every major career receiving record, including total receptions (1,549), receiving yards (22,895), all-purpose yards (23,546), touchdown receptions (197), and consecutive games with at least one reception (274).
Following his retirement, Rice expanded his influence beyond football.
