GoDaddy’s People-First Culture: A Message from the Chief People Officer

06/12/2025

A Note from Our Chief People Officer
When I joined GoDaddy, what immediately stood out to me was the authentic support and generosity of the team. Having spent more than 20 years in the corporate world, I know that workplace cultures can sometimes feel purely transactional. But GoDaddy felt different from day one. Our people consistently go the extra mile—for each other and for our customers. From my earliest moments here, I knew I had become part of a company where values aren’t just stated—they’re lived daily.

There’s no pressure to fit into a specific mold here—just the freedom to do meaningful work alongside people who care as deeply as I do. That feeling of connection—of working with colleagues who respect, challenge, and support one another—is what truly sets this place apart.

Taking on the role of Chief People Officer this year has been a tremendous privilege. It gives me the opportunity to guide our People Operations team and help shape our broader people strategy. This role aligns closely with my personal mission: to empower our employees to thrive and recognize the unique value they bring through both their work and their perspectives.

The principle of inclusive opportunity is a cornerstone of who I am, and it runs throughout this report. It speaks not only to my own values but to who we are collectively at GoDaddy. Creating an inclusive environment goes beyond policies—it’s about making sure every voice can be heard and every individual has an equal chance to succeed. We strive to build a workplace that welcomes all people and encourages meaningful collaboration at every stage—from a candidate’s first interaction to ongoing career development.

When we fail to welcome diverse perspectives, we risk missing out on innovation, improved service, and growth—both individually and as a company. True inclusion means actively inviting different viewpoints, challenging the status quo, and building better products that reflect the entrepreneurs we serve around the world.

I believe deeply in our people because I see the care and passion they bring every day. GoDaddy doesn’t just talk about being ‘people-first’—we embody it. I trust in our mission because I see our commitment to continuous improvement and our drive to make a meaningful impact for our customers and communities.
