2025 EPEAT Purchaser Awards: Recognizing Sustainable Procurement Excellence

The Global Electronics Council (GEC) is calling on top organizations to submit applications for the 2025 EPEAT Purchaser Awards. This award recognizes outstanding procurement practices and honors those that have enhanced their purchasing strategies by using EPEAT-registered products, leading to measurable cost savings and improved efficiency.

In 2024, past award winners achieved the following:

• $103 million in cost savings, showcasing how selecting EPEAT-registered IT products lowers lifetime expenses, including energy use and waste management.
• 2,141 GWh in energy savings, equivalent to the annual energy consumption of 176,269 U.S. households.
• A reduction of 567,188 metric tons in greenhouse gas emissions, which is comparable to removing 121,453 cars from the roads each year.
