Tom Noble, Chief Executive Officer of Noble Supply and Logistics, LLC, has announced the debut of NOBLE IQ, a newly established division focused on delivering integrated solutions in safety, security, and operational readiness to organizations across the public and private sectors worldwide.
Previously operating as KD Analytical Consulting LLC, NOBLE IQ builds on a strong foundation of end-to-end training, sustainment, and technical support services provided to public safety agencies, military organizations, and commercial partners. The division specializes in advanced technical capabilities, including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosives (CBRNE) systems, weapons and threat detection technologies, and other mission-critical safety and security solutions. Guided by its core philosophy—Evaluate, Implement, Train, and Sustain—NOBLE IQ delivers full lifecycle capability support as a trusted solutions provider.
While the division introduces a new brand identity, the experienced team based at its Lexington, Kentucky operations center remains the same, continuing its mission-driven focus on providing dependable, effective solutions when they are needed most.
NOBLE IQ is led by Executive Vice President Jon Terpening, whose leadership is supported by a multidisciplinary team of scientists, instructors, program managers, and solution specialists. Collectively, the team brings decades of operational and technical experience across CBRNE, hazardous materials, safety and security, Department of Defense programs, and related fields.
“Our approach ensures that every solution we deliver is grounded in real-world operations,” said Terpening. “We help government agencies and critical infrastructure partners address evolving security challenges through advanced technologies such as CBRNE sensors, AI- and machine-learning-enabled analytics, real-time data delivery, and comprehensive support services.”
NOBLE IQ delivers its capabilities across four primary service areas: Evaluation, Implementation, Training, and Sustainment.
Evaluation Services
NOBLE IQ provides objective, mission-focused evaluation services that enable organizations to assess threats, confirm capabilities, and make informed decisions prior to deployment. Supported by a long-standing collaboration with the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science at the University of New Haven, the NOBLE IQ Center of Excellence conducts scientifically validated assessments of existing, emerging, and next-generation CBRNE technologies. These evaluations address product performance, operational processes, and response readiness to ensure technologies perform effectively in real-world environments.
Evaluation offerings include threat and vulnerability assessments, equipment and technology testing, and the development of standard operating procedures that align personnel, processes, and tools into actionable response plans.
Implementation Services
Through its implementation services, NOBLE IQ bridges the gap between validated technology and operational deployment. The division supports customers in selecting and acquiring CBRNE detection and monitoring systems, as well as security screening technologies. Services extend through installation, validation, commissioning, and program management, ensuring systems are properly integrated and operationally ready from the outset.
Training
NOBLE IQ delivers comprehensive, hands-on training designed to prepare personnel to safely operate equipment and execute response procedures under real-world conditions. The division offers more than 100 specialized courses, including HazMatIQ, lithium-ion battery response, counterdrug operations, law enforcement and security programs, and new equipment training for public- and private-sector organizations.
Training is delivered by instructors with more than 1,000 years of combined operational experience and emphasizes scenario-based learning that enables responders, warfighters, and security professionals to apply skills immediately in the field.
Sustainment
To support long-term readiness, NOBLE IQ provides sustainment services that keep mission-critical equipment compliant, reliable, and operational throughout its lifecycle. Through ReadiTrak, the company’s cloud-based maintenance management platform, customers can track assets, manage calibration and maintenance schedules, and maintain full visibility across equipment lifecycles.
Sustainment services include calibration, repair, environmental equipment rentals, technical support, and warranty management, backed by NOBLE IQ’s established sustainment expertise. Customers benefit from 24/7 technical support, reduced downtime, and sustained operational performance.
NOBLE IQ TO EXHIBIT AT SHOT SHOW 2026
By combining advanced technologies with integrated service and sustainment programs, NOBLE IQ helps organizations mitigate risk, enhance security, and maintain operational readiness. The division supports federal agencies, military units, state and local responders, and critical infrastructure operators with the tools, training, and expertise required to protect people, facilities, and essential systems.
NOBLE IQ subject matter experts will be available at SHOT SHOW 2026 to engage with security and law enforcement professionals and discuss mission readiness solutions. The company will be exhibiting at Booth 30103, located on Level 2 of the Venetian.
