The Truist Foundation Inspire Awards will be held on November 12. Virtual registration details will be shared soon, but for now, get to know our six incredible finalists:
  • Breaking Barriers Through Deconstruction – Lifecycle Building Center
    A workforce training initiative designed to equip adults in underserved communities with skills in building material recovery and repurposing these materials for home repairs and energy-efficient upgrades.
  • FreeWorld – FreeWorld
    A technology-driven program focused on reskilling formerly incarcerated individuals and helping them transition into stable careers in the trucking industry.
  • ReCastED – Masonry Foundation
    A mentorship-based approach providing trades professionals with flexible pathways to become Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructors, helping close the talent gap in skilled trades.
  • Safety Net Tool for Economic Mobility – Integrity Transformations Community Development Corporation
    Through its BestFit digital platform, this initiative offers a centralized resource for organizations to assist adult learners in overcoming nonacademic challenges and basic needs insecurity.
  • Seniors R The Answer – Encore Employment Enterprise Inc.
    A call-center training program designed specifically for older adults seeking employment, paired with comprehensive wraparound services for added support.
  • Veterans Electrical Entry Program (VEEP) – electrical training ALLIANCE
    A pre-apprenticeship program that helps military veterans transition into civilian life by preparing them for high-demand careers in the electrical industry.
