U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance is inviting nonprofit organizations and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) to submit proposals for its Access Capital program, which aims to support emerging developers.
Through this initiative, financial support is provided to nonprofits that offer or plan to enhance technical assistance or training programs to better equip developers.
Interested organizations are required to apply by outlining how they would utilize the funding to strengthen or launch capacity-building initiatives for developers. U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance will review submissions and select between three and five recipients. Both existing and newly developed programs are eligible to apply.
“Programs that build capacity and provide technical support are essential for new developers,” said Torrence Moore, senior vice president at U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance. “The Access Capital program is designed to empower organizations that help developers gain knowledge, build connections, and prepare for future investments.”
Now in its fifth year, the program has awarded $1.2 million to 19 organizations between 2021 and 2024. The current application deadline is July 31, 2025, with funding expected to be distributed in Q4 2025.
