Affordable financing key to financial inclusion

CARE's Ignite Program is one such gender-focused program, and it saved Vietnam-based Thao when the pandemic devastated the storefront floristry business she opened in 2018. She lacked the funds to make the pivot required to survive. Thao was able to obtain affordable financing through the program's access to essential digital tools and training, which helped her expand her business to online sales, thanks to CARE's Ignite Program, a partnership with the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth.
