Training and Growth Opportunities
We believe variety is essential to development, acting as a catalyst for innovation and progress. Our training and development offerings empower employees to expand their knowledge, strengthen their expertise, and move forward in their careers. Highlights include:
- Care & Services Learning Summit: This annual global event focuses on leadership, coaching, and managing change, designed to develop top-performing talent.
- #learning_connect Slack Channel: Throughout the year, our L&D team shared bite-sized learning content like “2-Minute Tuesdays” and “5-Minute Fridays.” These campaigns generated 40 unique learning touchpoints, with nearly 1,000 completions.
- Learning Management System (LMS): Our extensive digital library provides access to online courses covering a wide array of topics, including business, tech, creativity, and software skills.
- Elevate Program: This in-depth leadership training initiative, tailored for Care & Services Guides, emphasizes operational excellence and leadership growth. In 2024, nearly 60 participants completed the program.
Beyond these core experiences, we offer specialized programs aimed at deepening technical proficiency, strengthening customer service skills, fostering leadership, and encouraging professional advancement. In 2024, GoDaddy employees averaged 11 hours of training each.
We also support formal education goals through a tuition reimbursement benefit, helping employees pursue degrees and certifications that complement their professional development.
Academic Credit for Training
Our U.S.-based trainers are certified through Rio Salado College in Arizona, allowing our new hire sales training to count toward college credit. Completion earns participants a certificate in CCL Web Hosting: Customer Service, which includes six transferable credits toward an applied science associate degree.
We also support formal education goals through a tuition reimbursement benefit, helping employees pursue degrees and certifications that complement their professional development.
Academic Credit for Training

Leadership Development
Effective leadership is fundamental to fostering high-performing teams. To support this, GoDaddy offers several targeted learning paths for current and aspiring leaders:
- GoDaddy Leadership Development Program: This curriculum includes a wide range of courses designed to build leadership strength in virtual collaboration, change management, feedback delivery, coaching, and handling challenging conversations. In 2024, 878 participants completed 1,327 sessions, totaling over 4,100 hours of learning.
- New Manager Onboarding: We enhanced our new manager onboarding in 2024 to better equip leaders from day one. The program features a multi-week course on GoDaddy’s values, strategies, and leadership expectations. A total of 82 new or newly promoted leaders enrolled in the course.
- Press Start, Leadership Arcade: This self-paced, modular onboarding series delivers leadership content on topics like soft skills and community building. Launched as a pilot in June 2024 with nine core modules, the full rollout is scheduled for 2025.

Employee Performance and Growth
Our performance management framework centers on the philosophy of becoming Better Every Day. We emphasize continuous improvement, transparency, and open feedback. Regular mid-year and year-end reviews focus on career planning, goal progress, peer input, and self-assessment. Additionally, we gather feedback through our annual GoDaddy Voice survey to shape our culture and strategies. Our commitment to learning helps create a space where every employee is supported in reaching their next level of excellence.
Advancing Careers through Promotion Flagging
To create a fair and proactive promotion process, we introduced a company-wide system that minimizes assessment discrepancies across departments. This system helps identify employees with high potential for advancement based on consistent criteria—moving beyond subjective evaluation and promoting equity in career progression.
