Streamworks Tech Launches AI-Powered Audit & Compliance Platform After Deloitte Sale
Deloitte has finalized the sale of Auvenir, a leading provider of cloud-based accounting technology and compliance platforms, to its management team, consisting of Pete Myers, Neeraj Sharma, and Tim Parker. Following the transaction, Auvenir has rebranded as Streamworks Tech.

Originally launched as a Deloitte venture to streamline client engagement and collaboration, the team at Auvenir has developed audit software for prominent audit and assurance clients, including Deloitte, Audit New Zealand, and various government organizations. The company has also gained significant adoption among Canadian CPA firms, leveraging its quality management compliance platform and engagement tools for audits, reviews, compilations, and preparations.

Streamworks Tech recently introduced its AI-powered quality management system in the U.S., in partnership with CPA Club, offering continuous monitoring and smooth migration from existing platforms.

Jean-Marc Mickeler, Deloitte Global Audit & Assurance leader, commented, "We are proud of the achievements realized through Deloitte and Auvenir, and we believe this transition represents the best long-term opportunity for the company and its team. Streamworks Tech is well-positioned to further strengthen its capabilities under its current leadership."

Pete Myers, CEO of Streamworks Tech, added, "Our focus has always been on supporting firms, enterprises, and public sector organizations with innovative technology, including AI, that promotes confidence, compliance, and operational agility. Our adaptable solutions have been successfully applied to audit, assurance, and compliance processes, and can now be customized for a wide range of client engagements across multiple industries."
