Employees and Families Give Back at Essex County Turtle Back Zoo Day of Service
For over three decades, we have proudly partnered with Essex County Turtle Back Zoo. This year, our employees and their families came together for the annual Turtle Back Zoo Day of Service, contributing their time and energy to a variety of meaningful projects, including:
- Creating more than 3,000 budgie sticks for birds in the aviary
- Designing cardboard enrichment materials to encourage natural behaviors and playful activity among the animals
- Clearing 135 pounds of litter from the reservoir surrounding the zoo
- Measuring every window on the grounds to support the installation of bird-strike prevention decals
We value a partnership that not only allows our team to give back to an important community institution, but also helps inspire the next generation by demonstrating the impact of volunteering.
