This International Women’s Day, we’re honoring the remarkable women pushing boundaries in STEM fields and lighting the way for future generations. In line with this year’s theme — “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.” — we’re reminded of the vital role support and opportunity play in empowering young women to lead the way forward.
At the heart of this progress is the influence of visible role models. Recent global research by Logitech revealed that 21% of women across China, India, and the U.S. were encouraged to enter the tech world by a role model or influencer. This highlights the crucial need for representation — when girls see someone like them succeeding, they begin to believe in their own potential to do the same.
Today, we’re proud to shine a light on three extraordinary #WomenWhoMaster ambassadors who perfectly represent the spirit of this year's International Women’s Day:
Aisha Bowe
A former aerospace engineer at NASA, Aisha is now the founder and CEO of STEMBoard and Lingo — and is on track to become the first Black woman to fly with Blue Origin’s New Shepard. Aisha’s work focuses on making STEM education more accessible and encouraging underrepresented youth, particularly girls, to see themselves as future scientists, engineers, and astronauts.
Ainura Sagyn
Ainura is making waves in Kyrgyzstan by combining environmental action with women’s empowerment. As a software engineer, ecofeminist, and CEO of Tazar, she leads a platform connecting communities and businesses with recycling services to combat landfill waste. Earlier, she partnered with fellow women engineers to travel across the country, teaching coding fundamentals to young girls.
Marija Musja
Marija is passionate about helping girls discover how tech can align with their unique interests and creativity. She is the founder and CEO of Empowerment Lab, an organization that connects girls with tech career pathways through a science-based personality quiz. The platform then suggests relevant digital skills and online courses that match each user’s passions.
Logitech’s #WomenWhoMaster celebrates women who are leading by example in the world of STEM — and showing the next generation what’s possible when they’re given the tools and encouragement to succeed.
