Each year, Chemours employees across the United States come together to give back to the communities they live and work in. This holiday season was no exception, as teams engaged in volunteering, charitable giving, and local partnerships to support families and community organizations. From West Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic to North Carolina, Texas, and Kentucky, employees united around a common purpose: helping meet essential community needs during the holidays.
At the Washington Works site in West Virginia, employees made a meaningful local impact through several initiatives. In collaboration with community partners, they sponsored children through a Secret Santa program, hosted a Toys for Tots drive, honored educators and students at Franklin Elementary School, and co-led a pet supply donation effort benefiting regional humane societies. Additionally, through an employee-driven community fund campaign with United Way, the team supported critical services for individuals and families experiencing food and housing insecurity.
Across Delaware and New Jersey, teams from the Chemours Discovery Hub, Wilmington headquarters, and Chambers Works participated in food and toy drives to support local households. Collectively, these efforts helped provide an estimated 10,200 meals to families in need.
In North Carolina, Fayetteville Works partnered with the Chemours Native American Employee Network to organize Operation Bless a Family. Employees also took part in the Fayetteville United Way campaign, supporting both the United Way of Cumberland County and Lumber River United Way.
Meanwhile, in Corpus Christi, Texas, employees gathered donations for the Ingleside Police Department’s Blue Santa program, assisting families during the holiday season. The Chemours Latin American Resource Organization also sponsored 30 children through the Angel Tree program, ensuring they received Christmas gifts. In Louisville, Kentucky, the local team raised more than $60,000 in support of the United Way.
What connects all of these efforts is the commitment of Chemours employees to stand alongside their neighbors, support local partners, and care for one another. Their collective generosity demonstrates that strong communities are built by people who are willing to step up and make a difference—a value that defines Chemours and extends far beyond the holiday season.
