On December 11, 2025, the 12th annual Women in Entertainment celebration—honoring achievements across film, television, music, sports, and fashion—made its return to AEG’s Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
The sold-out event, held under the theme “Art of Entertainment,” was supported by presenting sponsors including Coca-Cola, City National Bank, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Fox Entertainment, and Skechers. The evening brought together influential female executives, creatives, and leaders from across the entertainment landscape.
This year’s Inspiration Awards were presented to award-winning recording artists Verdine White of Earth, Wind & Fire and Estelle, along with 102.3 KJLH Radio, recognizing their impact, leadership, and enduring contributions to the industry. Attendees experienced a curated art exhibit commemorating the 50th anniversary of Ernie Barnes’ iconic The Sugar Shack, enjoyed live sets from DJ Jiji Sweet, and were moved by a performance from the Faithful Central Church Choir. The event also spotlighted local entrepreneurs through curated shopping opportunities.
Tamala Lewis, Senior Director of Community Relations & Foundation at Dignity Health Sports Park, emphasized the mission behind the gathering, noting that the event is designed to honor women’s influence while fostering meaningful connections, inspiration, and mutual support among industry professionals. She highlighted the importance of recognizing trailblazers who continue to open doors for future generations.
One of the evening’s standout moments was the Women in Entertainment Luncheon panel, led by Pat Shields of Black Dot Inc. The discussion featured prominent voices such as Abigail Weintraub, Vice President of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games; Ranada Shepard, co-creator, showrunner, and executive producer; Evan Seymour, founder of ERS Public Relations and Black Women in Entertainment; Felisa Israel, founder and executive producer of 10 Fold Entertainment; and Jennifer Sinigal-Cornelius, creator and fashion designer of Born To Roam. Panelists explored themes of leadership, innovation, and professional growth, while underscoring the critical role of mentorship, collaboration, and expanding access for emerging women leaders.
Overall, the event served as a powerful tribute to the women who continue to shape and redefine the entertainment industry today.
