Subaru Share the Love® Event: ASPCA Partnership for Animal Welfare

12/22/2023

Thrilling announcement for all pet enthusiasts across the country! The ASPCA has been chosen for the sixteenth consecutive year to be a national charity collaborator in the Subaru Share the Love® Event. This event commences on Thursday, November 16, and continues until January 2, 2024.

When you buy or lease a new Subaru during this festive season, you get the opportunity to “share the love” with the ASPCA! For each new Subaru vehicle bought or leased during the campaign, Subaru pledges to donate $250 to the buyer’s/lessee’s preferred charity among four national charity partners, including the ASPCA, or a local Hometown Charity(ies) endorsed by individual retailers.*

The donations received by the ASPCA will persist in aiding animals in need, like Jackson, who was given a new lease on life after being saved from a deserted apartment in New York City, where he was discovered severely malnourished and battling ear infections and anxiety. Jackson was moved to the ASPCA Canine Annex for Recovery and Enrichment (CARE), where our committed team promptly started providing him the necessary care.

Once Jackson regained his health, he was shifted to the ASPCA Adoption Center where he continued to overcome his anxieties and gain weight. In due course, Jackson was prepared to find a caring home! Coincidentally, Katie D. was in search of a large dog to accompany her in life and stumbled upon Jackson on the ASPCA website. The duo has been inseparable since then. Jackson represents just one of the hundreds of vulnerable dogs we encounter each year who require care, protection, and rehabilitation.

We are thrilled that Subaru has decided to back us again this year, and we eagerly anticipate offering more second chances to animals like Jackson!

Since 2008, Subaru has contributed over $35 million to the ASPCA through our collaboration, including the Subaru Share the Love Event. We are immensely grateful to Subaru and all the Subaru owners who have backed the ASPCA through this campaign over the years! Their support has propelled our lifesaving endeavors for numerous animals in need across the nation.
