EPRI and Southern Company have recently disclosed the keynote speakers for the upcoming Electrification International Conference & Exposition, slated for March 12-14, 2024, in Savannah, Georgia. Commencing the proceedings will be Arshad Mansoor, the President and CEO of EPRI, and Chris Womack, President and CEO of Southern Company.
 
EPRI's Electrification conference stands out as the exclusive gathering that unites the entire electric technologies ecosystem and associated stakeholders to collaborate on various fronts, such as e-mobility encompassing consumer and fleet vehicles, infrastructure, residential and commercial building decarbonization, industrial applications, agriculture, policy, regulatory developments, and more. The event boasts a comprehensive program featuring expert speakers, an extensive exhibit hall, and numerous networking opportunities.
 
Mansoor emphasized, "Participation in Electrification 2024 will offer insights into the groundbreaking innovations influencing electrification and decarbonization, along with discussions on processes and policies that could drive our electrified future. Electrification 2024 serves as the primary gathering for pioneers and decision-makers spanning the electrification spectrum. Collaboration across all sectors is imperative to devise practical and scalable solutions in alignment with decarbonization objectives and the unique requirements of each community."
 
Plenary speakers include representatives from notable companies such as Amazon, the U.S. Department of Energy, Daimler Truck, Exelon, and others. These experts will contribute to panel discussions covering crucial topics like "Driving Community Equity Through Electrification," "Putting Equity to Work in the Community," and "Policy Implications for an Electrified Future." The conference offers a diverse agenda with eight tracks encompassing industrial, decarbonized transportation, smart and decarbonized buildings, people and communities, low-carbon fuels in electrification, electrification and grid impacts, and controlled environment agriculture.
