Helping Customers Beat the Heat and Manage Energy Costs
As temperatures climb during the summer months, electricity usage and energy bills often rise as well. To support customers in staying comfortable while keeping costs manageable, Entergy Arkansas provides a range of tools and resources designed to help with energy use and bill management. Through the company’s online Bill Toolkit, customers can access energy-saving tips, manage their bills more effectively, and explore financial assistance options.

“Our goal at Entergy Arkansas is to help our customers stay comfortable and cut costs during the summer,” said Ventrell Thompson, Vice President of Customer Service. “From monitoring energy use to accessing energy-saving tools or applying for financial support, the Bill Toolkit puts customers in control of their energy expenses.”

Monitor Usage with myAdvisor
With the myAdvisor tool, available via the myEntergy online account, customers can track their daily electricity use and set alerts to monitor their consumption. Keeping an eye on usage patterns over time can help identify factors driving higher bills and assist with monthly budgeting. The myAdvisor dashboard offers a comprehensive view, including energy use, costs, billing history, projections, and analysis tools. On the Entergy app, this information can be found by selecting the “usage” tab.

Flexible Billing Options
Entergy provides a variety of convenient payment options to give customers flexibility in how and when they manage their bills:
Pick-A-Date lets customers choose a due date that best fits their schedule. Level Billing spreads out seasonal spikes in usage, offering more predictable monthly bills. PaperFREE billing delivers statements by email and provides quick access to up to two years of billing history. AutoPay ensures bills are paid on time automatically, helping customers avoid late fees and manual payments.
Customers needing additional support are encouraged to explore options such as deferred payment arrangements or extensions through the mobile app or myEntergy portal.

Access to Financial Assistance
Entergy also works with various local and state partners to connect eligible households to financial aid programs:
The Power to Care helps cover emergency energy costs for seniors and individuals with disabilities. LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) offers help with utility bills and other related expenses. Single Stop provides an easy, confidential way for customers to check their eligibility for financial support at federal, state, and local levels.
During the summer, Entergy Arkansas hosts community pop-up events aimed at helping income-restricted households. At these gatherings, customers can receive support with bill payments, energy-saving information, free portable fans, and help from community organizations.
