Samsung Unveils World’s First 130-Inch Micro RGB TV at CES 2026
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has introduced the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB television, the R95H, at CES 2026. This launch marks Samsung’s largest Micro RGB screen to date and signals a fresh design direction for the ultra-premium TV category.
“Micro RGB showcases the highest level of our display innovation, and the new 130-inch model pushes that ambition even further,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display (VD) Business. “By reinterpreting the design philosophy we first unveiled over a decade ago, we’re delivering a distinctly premium display built with next-generation technology.”
A Striking Design That Transforms the TV Experience
With its immense size, advanced color performance and refined design language, the Micro RGB TV reflects Samsung’s legacy of combining engineering leadership with elevated aesthetics. The expansive 130-inch screen, paired with enhanced audio output, is crafted to resemble an immersive architectural feature rather than a conventional television, creating the effect of an open visual window that enhances the surrounding space.
The TV adopts a contemporary, gallery-style look through its Timeless Frame—an updated interpretation of Samsung’s 2013 Timeless Gallery concept. Featuring a slimmer, more polished frame, the design embraces the idea of “technology as art.” Drawing inspiration from large architectural windows, the display appears suspended within its frame, turning the screen into a centerpiece that defines the room. Integrated audio elements within the frame are finely tuned to the screen’s scale, ensuring a cohesive connection between sound and visuals.

Samsung’s 130-inch Micro RGB TV incorporates its most sophisticated Micro RGB technologies yet. Equipped with the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Color Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro, the display uses AI-driven processing to enhance muted tones, sharpen contrast and deliver rich colors with fine detail across both bright and dark scenes.
Visual performance is further elevated by Micro RGB Precision Color 100, which achieves full coverage of the BT.2020 wide color gamut. Certified by the Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE) for accurate Micro RGB color reproduction, the display renders colors with exceptional precision and realism. Samsung’s proprietary Glare Free technology is also included, reducing reflections and maintaining clarity, contrast and color accuracy under different lighting conditions.
The TV supports HDR10+ ADVANCED and Eclipsa Audio for enhanced picture and sound quality, along with Samsung’s upgraded Vision AI Companion. This AI platform enables conversational search, intelligent recommendations and access to advanced features and applications such as AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity.
