This month marks the end of my six-year service as a trustee for the Chattahoochee Nature Center, Inc. The CNC serves a vital role in Metro Atlanta and throughout the Chattahoochee River watershed by helping people engage with the natural world. During my time on the board, the dedicated leadership team and staff successfully led a capital campaign that revitalized the river boardwalk, greatly enhancing the experience for visitors.
As the Center prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026, we have refreshed our strategic plan and are nearing the completion of a second capital campaign. These efforts will help expand CNC’s ability to inspire future nature lovers through school programs, summer camps, and other hands-on learning experiences.
I am grateful for the support of CNC President and CEO Natasha Rice and board chair Nick DiLuzio throughout my tenure. Georgia-Pacific LLC has long enjoyed a strong, mutually beneficial partnership with the Center—one that will continue as David Brabham steps onto the board.
