Lenovo Earns Top Workplace Pride Inclusion Score
Lenovo has recorded its strongest-ever performance in the Workplace Pride Global Benchmark, achieving a score of 93.7% in 2026 and attaining ‘Advocate’ status for the first time. This is the benchmark’s highest recognition, awarded to organisations that score above 90%.

The achievement highlights Lenovo’s continued efforts to strengthen LGBTIQ+ inclusion throughout its global operations.

Lenovo has made consistent progress in recent years and now sits in the top tier across every category assessed by the benchmark. These areas include workplace policies, communications, employee resource groups, benefits and wider community impact. One notable development was the introduction of LGBTIQ+ Self ID in selected European countries, enabling the company to gain a better understanding of its workforce and use those insights to inform future inclusion programmes.

“This one really matters,” said Christoph Blankenhagen, Global Technology Partners and Europe Pride Chair at Lenovo. “For many years, we have worked closely with our leaders to create a more inclusive workplace for LGBTIQ+ colleagues. Achieving a score of 93.7% and reaching Advocate status demonstrates what sustained commitment and collaboration across teams around the world can accomplish. That makes this recognition particularly meaningful for everyone involved in driving this work forward.”

The result reflects a wide range of initiatives, including strengthened policies, active employee communities and greater involvement from leaders and allies. These efforts helped Lenovo achieve top-tier results across all areas evaluated, including full marks for support, benefits and community impact.

David Pollard, Executive Director of Workplace Pride, said the 2026 Global Benchmark demonstrates that effective inclusion is not determined by the size of an organisation’s budget or by how favourable circumstances are. Instead, it depends on the decisions organisations make and the actions they take when inclusion matters most.

The Workplace Pride Global Benchmark evaluates organisations on their approach to LGBTIQ+ inclusion across workplace policies, culture and business operations worldwide. It also considers how organisations respond to the differing levels of progress and acceptance found across international markets.

For Lenovo, the 2026 score represents another milestone in its ongoing inclusion journey. The company’s approach extends beyond establishing policies, with a broader focus on creating a workplace where employees can contribute effectively, perform at their best and feel a genuine sense of belonging.

The recognition also extended to individuals and employee groups within the company. Christoph Blankenhagen was named Lenovo’s Europe and META Diversity Champion of the Year, while Lenovo’s Europe Pride ERG received the Lenovo ERG of the Year award. Together, these honours recognise Christoph’s leadership and the collective contribution of the Europe Pride ERG in advancing LGBTIQ+ inclusion across Lenovo.
