Las Vegas Rings in 2026 with Fireworks, Drones & America’s Party Celebration
Las Vegas rang in 2026 with its landmark 25th installment of “America’s Party,” transforming the Strip into a citywide celebration featuring a coordinated drone light performance and an eight-minute fireworks spectacle produced by Fireworks by Grucci. Fireworks erupted in unison from the rooftops of ten iconic resorts:
  • ARIA Resort & Casino
  • Caesars Palace
  • Fontainebleau Las Vegas
  • MGM Grand Hotel & Casino
  • Palms Casino Resort
  • Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
  • Resorts World Las Vegas
  • The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower
  • TI – Treasure Island Hotel & Casino
  • The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
In a New Year’s Eve first, 600 illuminated drones soared above the Strip, synchronized perfectly with the fireworks to present a high-energy aerial show titled “Rockin’ into 2026 – Vegas Style.” The drones created vivid images across the sky, including the legendary Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, a glowing skyline crowned by rotating “2026” numerals, a roulette wheel in motion, a classic slot machine, and a celebratory “Happy New Year” message.

The drone performance concluded with a powerful red, white, and blue display commemorating the launch of America’s 250th anniversary. To mark the beginning of this year-long national celebration, Las Vegas resorts joined in by displaying coordinated America 250 messaging on marquees and digital displays across the city.

Once again, Sphere served as the official New Year’s Eve countdown venue. Its Exosphere—the largest LED screen in the world—showcased custom countdown visuals, featuring Orbi sporting 2026 glasses, along with a newly unveiled art segment by Sphere XO/Art contributor Hugo Johnson.

Meanwhile, downtown Las Vegas hosted its annual Countdown Under The Canopy at Fremont Street Experience. The event featured live performances by Robin Thicke, CeeLo Green, Common Kings, Chingy, Pertinence, and Sammy Johnson across multiple stages, culminating in a midnight fireworks display launched from Plaza Hotel & Casino.

New Year’s Eve attendance in Las Vegas was estimated at 345,000 visitors, underscoring the city’s continued popularity as one of the world’s premier destinations for welcoming the new year.
