KeyBank Redmond Ridge Branch: Innovative Banking and Community Support in Seattle

03/31/2024

KeyBank, a prominent company listed in the Fortune 500, has unveiled the inauguration of a fresh branch in the Redmond Ridge area, with its regional headquarters stationed in Seattle.

Situated at 23555 NE Novelty Hill Road in Redmond, this new branch offers comprehensive banking services to the public since February 26th. A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted on March 25th, attended by local community members, and a grand opening event is scheduled for April.

To mark the occasion of the Redmond Ridge branch opening, KeyBank has extended its support to two local nonprofit organizations, HopeLink and Together Center, with generous donations of $10,000 each, aligning with their missions to serve the community.

Matt Hill, KeyBank's Seattle Cascades market president and commercial banking leader, expressed enthusiasm about the branch's role in integrating with the Ridge community. He highlighted Redmond Ridge's significance as the 17th most populated city in the state, emphasizing KeyBank's commitment to investing in Washington and fostering closer relationships with neighbors, clients, and community partners.

The new branch distinguishes itself with KeyBank's innovative financial wellness center model, featuring financial wellness consultants instead of conventional teller services. Transactions and comprehensive financial reviews will be conducted at dedicated desks. Furthermore, clients can access specialized services in mortgage, investments, and business banking at the new location.

In addition to personalized banking services, the branch boasts digital video screens and a client hospitality area suitable for financial seminars and group presentations. It also includes conveniences like a drive-up teller line, ATM services, and ample free parking.

“KeyBank’s financial wellness centers are uniquely designed to give our clients a more personal banking experience, with even better access to a full suite of products and services,” said Derek Pender, regional retail leader for KeyBank.

“This model has been well received across the KeyBank footprint, and we are excited to bring this more consultative approach to Redmond Ridge and demonstrate our commitment to helping our clients move forward on their financial journey. The advice our bankers provide is our most valuable asset, and we cannot wait for the community to get to know them and reach their financial goals.”
