KeyBank Honored Among America’s 50 Most Community-Minded Companies in 2025

06/16/2025

For the 12th consecutive year, KeyBank has been recognized by Points of Light as one of America’s 50 most community-centric companies in 2025. This honor is based on The Civic 50 survey — administered by True Impact — which assesses companies through a combination of quantitative and qualitative criteria.

Recipients are selected based on four key dimensions of their community engagement and social impact initiatives: the investment of resources, their integration across business operations, the institutionalization of practices and policies, and the way they measure their overall impact.

Key stands out as one of the few companies that have consistently earned high scores during the 13-year history of The Civic 50.

In addition, KeyBank was recognized as this year’s Financials Sector Leader — marking its eighth time receiving this distinction.

“We’re proud to be recognized by Points of Light for honoring our longstanding commitment to helping our clients, colleagues, and communities flourish,” said Eric Fiala, Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer for KeyBank and CEO of the KeyBank Foundation. “KeyBank has contributed more than $50 billion to community investment since 2017, from financing affordable housing and small business growth to delivering transformative philanthropic support. As we celebrate our bicentennial, we remain passionate about strengthening and revitalizing the communities we serve.”

The Civic 50 is a Points of Light initiative that spotlights the 50 most community-oriented companies in the country. The survey draws upon Points of Light’s Corporate Civic Engagement Framework — a roadmap designed to aid companies in employing their resources, expertise, and influence to foster social impact.
