KeyBank Appoints Rachael Sampson as Head of Community Banking for Enhanced Consumer Services

Rachael Sampson has been appointed as the Head of Community Banking for KeyBank's Consumer Bank. In this newly established position, Sampson will be responsible for leading teams in developing and executing strategies for a range of consumer products and services. These initiatives aim to engage and strengthen relationships with clients in low-to-moderate income and diverse segments. Additionally, Sampson will oversee the national consumer sales strategy for these segments, as well as manage Key's workplace banking, financial wellness programs, and initiatives focused on women and diverse consumers.
 
Reporting directly to Victor Alexander, Head of Key’s Consumer Bank, Sampson and her Community Banking team will collaborate closely with KeyBank’s Corporate Responsibility team to identify opportunities aligned with Key’s mission of supporting clients and communities. Alexander expressed enthusiasm about Sampson's promotion, emphasizing the progress made in serving clients in low-to-moderate income and diverse segments. He highlighted the importance of Sampson's role in amplifying and expanding KeyBank’s efforts, including special purpose credit programs for homebuyers and homeowners.
 
With 18 years of experience at KeyBank, Sampson previously led KeyBank’s Key4Women and Key@Work programs, which have now been integrated into the new Community Banking organization. She has also served as a Commercial Bank relationship manager in KeyBank’s Cincinnati Market. Sampson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Thomas More University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Cincinnati.
