Kenvue’s Climate Strategy and 2030 Decarbonization Goals

09/24/2026

At Kenvue, we see human health as closely connected to the health of the environment around us — including the air we breathe and the communities where we live. Through our Healthy Lives Mission, we are working to make everyday care a force for positive change, supporting healthier people, a healthier planet, and greater resilience for the future.

A key part of this effort is our approach to decarbonization. Our Climate Transition Plan sets out the actions we intend to take to lower greenhouse gas emissions throughout our operations and value chain in the near term, while contributing to our longer-term decarbonization objectives.

From Climate Goals to Measurable Action
Our climate strategy is built around several important commitments:
Cut Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030. Source 100% of the electricity used across our operations from renewable sources by 2030. Encourage 75% of key suppliers to establish science-based climate targets by 2028. Work toward our longer-term goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
These commitments help shape decisions involving our facilities, supply chain, and products.

Increasing the Use of Renewable Energy
Transitioning to renewable electricity represents an important opportunity to lower emissions generated by our operations. Since 2020, Kenvue has expanded its use of renewable energy through onsite solar projects and agreements that support renewable electricity procurement in markets around the world.

By the end of 2025:
76.2% of Kenvue's electricity consumption came from renewable sources, compared with 29.3% in 2020. The company had 21 onsite solar installations across 14 countries. 13 agreements were in place to support the procurement of renewable electricity from offsite sources.
Working With Suppliers to Reduce Value Chain Emissions
Kenvue's Supplier Climate Action Program is designed to help suppliers strengthen their climate-related capabilities and make progress toward science-based emissions targets.

In 2025, approximately 300 suppliers were identified as priority partners. Together, these suppliers represent the majority of emissions associated with purchased goods and transportation-related activities.

Beyond supplier engagement, Kenvue is examining additional ways to lower emissions throughout its value chain. Areas of focus include developing more sustainable ingredients, improving packaging, finding new transportation solutions, and incorporating climate considerations into product design.

Continuing the Journey Toward Decarbonization
Climate action is a long-term process that requires continued progress across multiple areas. By expanding renewable electricity, working more closely with suppliers, and incorporating climate considerations into business decisions, Kenvue is working to advance its vision of a healthier future for both people and the planet.

Key Terms
Scope 1 emissions: Greenhouse gas emissions produced directly by operations or assets that a company owns or controls. Scope 2 emissions: Indirect emissions associated with purchased electricity, steam, heating, or cooling. Value chain emissions: Emissions generated through activities outside a company's direct operations, including suppliers, transportation, and packaging. Science-based targets: Emissions-reduction goals developed in alignment with the reductions required by climate science.
