Hargreaves Services Takes Special Care Of Its Driver Safety


Operating trucks does not compromise on the safety of drivers as well as others on present on the road.

Dailycsr.com – 27 February 2017 – Hargreaves Services specialises on “materials logistics” has an “absolute commitment” towards protecting “its own drivers and other road users”, whereby it has ordered “a fleet of 21 Mercedes-Benz tractor”.
The above mentioned units were ordered from the “north-east” based dealer named “Bell Truck and Van”. The said operator of truck is based out of Durham, which has armed the “new trucks” with the “optional safety packs”; the latter comprises of “remarkable Active Brake Assist 3 autonomous braking and Proximity Control Assist systems”. Additionally, there are also airbags for drivers and “large, easily-read instrument clusters”.
Moreover, HSE adds:
“Fully compliant with FORS (Freight Operator Recognition Scheme) Silver, CLOCS (Construction Logistics and Community Safety) and Crossrail specifications, they are also fitted with a comprehensive array of camera systems and sensors designed to protect vulnerable cyclists and pedestrians”.
