Giving Importance To The Safety & Comfort Of Women In The Industry

03/31/2018

New range of work boot specially designed for women comes in a range of “unique” collection that caters to comfort besides safety.

Dailycsr.com – 31 March 2018 – TUC conducted a survey, whereby revealing that only 29% of women in the industry “wear PPE specifically designed for them”, while another 57% claimed that their “current PPE” was more of a hindrance for their work.

Dr. Martens is an iconic footwear brand of Britain which is challenging the above mentioned trend by launching its “unique” collection for industrial women, which offers the workers “a choice of boots” while at the same time the safety angles are not compromised.

Maple is a “classic lace-up” boot model with “steel toe” and is meant for work, whereby the said “innovative range” also features the same as it is “designed with soft leather” and comes in “heat-sealed uppers”.

With the padded tip one is ensured to have comfort, while the “SoftWair sock liner” at the heel area gives one “extra cushioning”. Furthermore, HSE added:
“The Arbor is a classic Chelsea work boot with a steel toe cap with soft leather uppers that are heat-sealed with a durable PVC outsole”.
