Georgia-Pacific is making efforts to ensure healthy, diverse, sustainable forests that are critical habitats for wildlife.

Its efforts include:
  • Promoting wildlife diversity, protecting endangered species, and restoring forest ecosystems.
  • Since 2018, it has planted 3.4 million seedlings in efforts towards conserving forests; it has also planted an additional 400,000+ trees on the properties surrounding GP facilities.
  • It has committed to a 1:1 philosophy which states that for every tree used by it, it will ensure that one tree is regrown.
