He noted that Denison and Wood have an established working relationship, beginning with the 2023 Feasibility Study and continuing through two years of detailed engineering work. He added that Denison is assembling its construction team and preparing to begin site work promptly once all permits are obtained. With strong financial capacity and advanced engineering and procurement planning, Denison expects to move quickly toward a Final Investment Decision and initiate construction after federal environmental and licensing approvals are secured.

Wood’s focus will be on ensuring a safe and efficient transition into construction, maintaining continuity in personnel, applying structured project management practices, and supporting a reliable path to initial production. He emphasized Wood’s commitment to collaborating closely with Denison to deliver the Phoenix project safely and successfully.

Under the construction management agreement, Wood will oversee procurement and construction activities, including managing construction of the processing plant, installing selected site infrastructure, and providing integrated project controls, procurement support, on-site safety supervision, and performance reporting. These services will be delivered in close coordination with Denison through a joint project management team with shared responsibilities.

Appointing Wood ensures continuity between the engineering and execution stages and is intended to support efficient and dependable delivery of the Project during an expected 24-month construction period. Denison has entered into this agreement in its role as the Project operator on behalf of the Wheeler River Joint Venture.
