Dahua Technology, a global provider of video-focused AIoT solutions and services, has published its seventh Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report, highlighting its continued commitment to sustainable development aligned with its mission of creating smarter societies and improving quality of life.

In 2025, the company deepened the integration of ESG principles into its worldwide operations, emphasizing environmentally responsible growth, regulatory compliance, and ethical technology deployment. Its efforts were recognized with a Silver Medal from EcoVadis, placing it within the top 15% of companies globally.

Broadening AIoT Applications Across Sectors
Dahua expanded the use of AIoT technologies across industrial, urban, and environmental domains. In sectors like renewable energy and petrochemicals, intelligent inspection systems enhanced operational safety and maintenance effectiveness. Within cities, AI-powered traffic and infrastructure monitoring solutions supported smoother traffic flow and quicker incident management, helping stabilize urban operations. For environmental conservation, Dahua utilized video and sensor-based technologies in biodiversity initiatives, including joint efforts with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) on wetland preservation. Additionally, AIoT solutions were introduced in healthcare and education to boost efficiency and accessibility in everyday services.

Advancing Low-Carbon and Green Initiatives
During 2025, Dahua made significant progress toward reducing its carbon footprint. The company increased its photovoltaic capacity by about 6.33 MW, marking a 78% year-over-year rise, while annual solar power consumption reached over 11,000 MWh. In manufacturing, the company advanced toward automated “lights-out” factories, expanding AGV coverage by 30,000 square meters and improving logistics efficiency by half. Dahua also focused on developing energy-saving products, such as solar-powered 4G devices, battery-operated outdoor cameras, and high-capacity DC charging systems, contributing to lower emissions. It achieved more than 150 green product certifications and completed over 40 carbon footprint assessments for its products. Packaging improvements further reduced average volume by 20%, significantly enhancing storage and transportation efficiency.

Enhancing Governance, Compliance, and Data Protection
The company reinforced its governance structure by embedding compliance practices across its global operations and strengthening standards for business ethics and information security. Dahua secured several certifications, including GB/T 35770-2022 for compliance management, ISO 9001 for quality management, and ISO 28000 for supply chain security. Notably, no product recalls occurred due to safety or quality concerns during the year. In cybersecurity and privacy, Dahua maintained alignment with international frameworks such as CE-RED, ISO 27701, and ISO 27018, while operating systems to monitor vulnerabilities and manage risks. It also progressed in AI governance, aligning with ISO/IEC 42001 standards for artificial intelligence management.

Supporting Communities and Social Initiatives
Throughout 2025, Dahua contributed to disaster relief and community support efforts in various regions. In Europe, it aided reforestation projects in Madrid following wildfire damage. The company also partnered with organizations like Rêves in France and Starlight in Australia to assist children facing serious illnesses. In Southeast Asia, Dahua took part in emergency response activities, including flood relief efforts in Indonesia and post-earthquake support in Myanmar.
