EUROBIKE 2026 wrapped up at Messe Frankfurt after four days of networking, innovation showcases, and industry discussions. During the event, DAHON introduced its latest "DAHON-V" technology platform alongside a range of newly developed bicycles built around this advanced engineering concept.
A Global Platform for Bicycle Innovation
Presenting under the theme "DAHON 2.0 – Beyond Folding Bikes," the company exhibited an extensive lineup that included heavy-duty folding bicycles, lightweight electric bikes, tri-fold models, and high-performance road bikes at Hall 12, Booth B29. Interactive attractions such as the daily "WIN A DAHON" giveaway and the "SPIN & WIN" prize wheel drew significant visitor participation throughout the exhibition. At the outdoor test zone, F12-A24, attendees had the opportunity to experience the latest models in urban, road, and adventure riding conditions. The event also served as the global launch platform for BICECO by DAHON.
Perspectives on the Future of the Cycling Industry
DAHON Founder and CEO Dr. David T. Hon participated in interviews with leading European cycling publications, including BikeBiz, BikeRadar, ELECTRIC BIKE, and Velo 101. During these discussions, he explained the engineering philosophy behind the DAHON-V technology platform, highlighting how innovations in frame design can enhance rigidity, optimize power transfer, and improve overall ride performance in both folding and traditional bicycles.
Drawing on more than 40 years of experience in the folding bicycle sector, Dr. Hon also joined two panel sessions at EUROBIKE: "Form Follows Function: A Focus on Bicycle Product Design" and "Supply Chain Rebalancing in the Bike Industry," where he shared insights on product development and evolving industry dynamics.
DAHON-V Establishes a New Standard in Performance
The centerpiece of DAHON's presentation was the DAHON-V (Velocity Tech Suite) platform, showcased through several key models:

DAHON-V Establishes a New Standard in Performance
The centerpiece of DAHON's presentation was the DAHON-V (Velocity Tech Suite) platform, showcased through several key models:
- LUNDEN C8 — An enhanced carbon-fiber tri-fold bicycle featuring DELTECH technology, a redesigned top tube extending directly from the head tube to the bottom bracket, and a wider, straighter chainstay configuration to increase frame stiffness, durability, and acceleration performance.
- MARINER HD — DAHON's latest heavy-duty flagship model, built around the DAHON-V structural architecture and designed to support loads of up to 150 kg.
- UNIO E20 — An electric bicycle equipped with five levels of pedal assistance, a mid-drive motor system, and a long-range battery integrated into the seatpost.
- BOARDWALK D7 — A city bicycle inspired by classic British styling, incorporating an H-shaped steel frame, DELTECH technology, a Super Down Tube, KC joint construction, and an upgraded two-stage Internal V-Quick Lock mechanism.
Moving Forward
Although EUROBIKE 2026 has come to an end, DAHON's commitment to innovation continues. The company plans to further develop sustainable two-wheel mobility solutions while introducing more inventive bicycle designs that support greater freedom of movement and environmentally conscious lifestyles for riders around the world.
