Covia Awards 2025 Aspire Scholarships to U.S. and Canada Student Dependents

08/05/2025

Since its inception in 2013, the Aspire Scholarship has helped nearly 50 dependents of Covia employees across the United States pursue higher education. Managed by the Cleveland Foundation in collaboration with College Now, this initiative is designed to encourage and support the children of Covia's full-time team members as they embark on their academic journeys.

In 2025, the scholarship program attracted a competitive group of applicants. After careful evaluation by an impartial selection committee, six outstanding students were selected as recipients: Alexandria Nevison, Alexa Feicks, Dominic Ricciardi, Daniele Nazario Jr., Madison Hutson, and Abigail Michels. Each of these students received substantial financial assistance to help reduce tuition expenses and advance their educational aspirations.

This year also marks an exciting development—the debut of the Covia Canada Aspire Scholarship. In partnership with Burlington-based ScholarTree, Covia extended the program to include the children of full-time employees at its Canadian operations. Modeled after the U.S. program, the Canadian version recognized its first group of recipients: Braydon Wayne Cooper, Chloe Cooper, Elizabeth Cox, Isabelle Cox, and Hrish Dave. This expansion reflects Covia’s continued dedication to community enrichment and support for its Canadian workforce.
